Warren J. Gilbert has been chasing stories since the second grade.
What started as a childhood love for writing and drawing turned into a lifelong passion for creating worlds that feel alive. After winning his first Young Author Award in third grade, Warren continued sketching and imagining heroes — but as life got busier, drawing became harder to keep up with.

Still, he never stopped dreaming. Notes scribbled on his phone turned into ideas, and those ideas became the foundation of his debut novel, Ninjurai Hasaki: Shino’s Accession.

Inspired by anime, manga, and the spirit of ninja and samurai stories, Warren writes about resilience — about fighting for your dreams no matter how far away they seem. He’s building the world he always daydreamed about, one chapter at a time, and inviting others to grow with him as the Ninjurai Hasaki Series expands into more stories and possible manga and anime adaptations.
